Rafting : Information

     Rafting and Kayaking are the two white water adventure sports popular in the Himalayan Rivers. White water rafting in the rushing himalayan rivers in an inflatable rubber raft or kayak over crashing waves and swirling rapids for the excitement of lifetime and at the same time allowing one to immerse in the beautiful landscape.
     For rafting, you will need to bring shorts and T-shirts or swimwear, suitable footwear for wearing in the raft plastic slippers or tongue with good grip, warm clothing for evening, a towel, sun block, camera etc. A flash light can also be quite handy to carry with you.
     We provide the rest of the equpiment including high quality avon rafts, we also provide safety helmets, plastic paddles, life - jackets and safety and medical equipments.

      River Grades
      The rivers are graded on a scale of 1 to 6 depending on how wild their rapids are. River grades one is as calm as a swimming pool and grade 6 is a roller-coaster ride. Four is considered to be quite challenging without being exceedingly dangerous for the novice rafter. Five requires some previous river experience.
